I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank all of you for your support. I have had my small massage clinic in the Ka'ala Healing Arts building since the end of 2005. Never a day passes that I am not in awe of how lucky I am to serve the North Shore community by providing massage therapy. It has always been a dream of mine to have a successful massage practice.
I have come a long way in the past twelve years. One of the things that has made this possible is sharing my office with Abby Parker of North Shore Ashiatsu and Massage. When I first started out at Ka'ala Healing Arts after years of spa, resort, and mobile massage work, she took a chance by allowing me to sublease her office space from her part-time. In effect, we became business partners without actually sharing a business together. Several years later, I was able to return the favor when she moved back to Oahu after a brief mainland stay. I would not have a successful part-time massage practice without such a gifted and reliable therapist to share my overhead with. Mahalo, Abby Parker. I am so happy to share space with you!
The past twelve years has also brought so many life-changing experiences! From finally graduating college with a BA in Psychology, to getting married to the most wonderful man in the universe, to having two amazing little munchkins... I have so much to be grateful for. My heart is truly full. Some of my massage clients have been with me all this time, while others have moved away to be replaced by new ones. I want you all to know how much I appreciate you coming to me for massage. I love what I do for a living, and it is one of my greatest joys to be privileged enough to have a job that I am passionate about. Not everyone is so lucky. Thank you for making it possible!
My schedule is full, my heart is full, and my life is fulfilling. I am truly thankful for everything I have.
