Aloha All,

I wanted to make a quick announcement to celebrate the fact that we now accept all major medical and health insurance policies in the state of Hawaii that cover therapeutic massage. When I first enrolled in massage school, twenty years ago, it was one of my biggest dreams that insurance would cover massage therapy. Nothing makes me happier than to see this start to happen.

Although this is only the beginning, it is a wonderful start. If you would like coverage and do not have it, approach your employer about expanding your coverage for alternative medicine and massage. If you are an employer and want to offer your workers the benefits that they deserve, then expand your policies to include massage therapy. Massage provides non-opioid pain relief and increases feelings of well-being.

We now accept HMSA, HMAA, ASH Networks, Kaiser Permanente, and UHA health insurance policies that cover massage therapy in Hawaii. For those of you who do not have health insurance that covers massage, please inquire about our community wellness program.
