North Shore Massage Gift Certificates for the Holidays

Aloha Everyone,

As we roll into the holiday season, I just wanted to make a quick blog post to keep in touch with everyone. Although I will be traveling the week of Christmas and New Years, I can still sell massage gift certificates online. All you have to do is fill out the form on my website located on the tab that says "gift certificates." Then, I will email you an invoice to pay securely online. After I receive your payment, I can email a gift certificate notice to the recipient or you can print it out to give them yourself. It is so easy to buy your last minute holiday massage gift!

I also want to announce that I have just started accepting UHA health insurance for massage therapy. Some plans cover up to $500 a year, so feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.

It has just been announced that in 2019, some Medicare Type C plans will cover massage therapy. This is tremendous news, and I am so excited. Massage therapy is finally being covered by health insurance. Hopefully, Tricare in Hawaii will be next. There is some buzz on social media about certain states offering massage benefits to military personnel, so I hope that our state will be among those soon! I will begin calling around at the start of the year to see if I can find out any information about massage therapy coverage.

Read this article from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to find out more about the services they are expanding to cover in 2019. This will include massage therapy for some "Type C" Medicare Plan holders.

The American Massage Therapy Association has also written a brief article that highlights Medicare Massage coverage in 2019

I just want to thank all of my amazing clientele for supporting my business over the years. I love being a massage therapist, and I put my heart and soul into what I do. Your feedback means everything to me, and I would love to hear from you about how I can improve my clinic in 2019. I have been thinking about investing in a new hot stone set and a hot towel cabi. What else would you like to see me offer?

Sincerely,
Sonia Beauchamp
