North Shore Standing Massage Appointments

Happy New Year's 2019,

Massage is one of the best ways to keep your body feeling good, but it is easy to get caught up with things and let that weekly or monthly massage fall off your schedule. One of the best ways to get around this problem is to book a standing massage appointment at the beginning of each year. Not only does it ensure that you remember to make your appointment, but it also helps your massage therapist plan their schedule.

Call our Waialua massage clinic near Haleiwa to book your standing massage appointments for 2019

Why book a standing appointment for massage?

Standing appointments keep you from forgetting to take care of yourself. If you already have your massage in your planner, it is easier to schedule other events around it. Getting massage therapy on a regular basis has helped many people reduce their level of pain and elevate their performance. Many times, if you wait until the last minute to book your massage, your therapist cannot fit you in their schedule. You might have to book with a massage therapist that is not as good as you hoped for, or you might have to settle with an alternative therapy.

I don't know my schedule in advance, how do I book standing massage appointments?

Booking a standing massage appointment ensures that your therapist keeps time for you at the appropriate intervals. You can always change your standing appointments when it gets closer to the date. It actually makes it easier to anticipate scheduling problems when there is a loose schedule in place.

Call now to book your standing massage appointments in Waialua for 2019.

Whether you receive weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly massages, call now to set up your appointments for this year. There is nothing more upsetting than when I have to turn people down because I have no time in my schedule. Help me prevent this from happening by booking all your massage appointments now. Give me a call, I am always happy to help.

Have a happy New Year!

Sincerely,
Sonia Beauchamp

North Shore Massage Gift Certificates for the Holidays

Aloha Everyone,

As we roll into the holiday season, I just wanted to make a quick blog post to keep in touch with everyone. Although I will be traveling the week of Christmas and New Years, I can still sell massage gift certificates online. All you have to do is fill out the form on my website located on the tab that says "gift certificates." Then, I will email you an invoice to pay securely online. After I receive your payment, I can email a gift certificate notice to the recipient or you can print it out to give them yourself. It is so easy to buy your last minute holiday massage gift!

I also want to announce that I have just started accepting UHA health insurance for massage therapy. Some plans cover up to $500 a year, so feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.

It has just been announced that in 2019, some Medicare Type C plans will cover massage therapy. This is tremendous news, and I am so excited. Massage therapy is finally being covered by health insurance. Hopefully, Tricare in Hawaii will be next. There is some buzz on social media about certain states offering massage benefits to military personnel, so I hope that our state will be among those soon! I will begin calling around at the start of the year to see if I can find out any information about massage therapy coverage.

Read this article from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to find out more about the services they are expanding to cover in 2019. This will include massage therapy for some "Type C" Medicare Plan holders.

The American Massage Therapy Association has also written a brief article that highlights Medicare Massage coverage in 2019

I just want to thank all of my amazing clientele for supporting my business over the years. I love being a massage therapist, and I put my heart and soul into what I do. Your feedback means everything to me, and I would love to hear from you about how I can improve my clinic in 2019. I have been thinking about investing in a new hot stone set and a hot towel cabi. What else would you like to see me offer?

Sincerely,
Sonia Beauchamp

Celebrating Ka'ala Healing Arts

Aloha Friends,

I am so thankful for my ohana at Ka'ala Healing Arts where I have been a tenant since 2005. Last night, the owner and business manager of our building, Jeff Ramos, treated us all to a lovely feast at Kawailoa Tavern in Haleiwa. The food, service, and atmosphere was amazing. I highly recommend trying it out.

The Ka'ala Healing Arts Ohana

It was amazing to reconnect with everyone. So much has changed in the last 13 years! Abby Parker is now an amazing ashiatsu instructor and has opened up a new massage clinic next to Pa'alakai Bakery where she can train other massage therapists to do specialty work.

Jennifer Piltz decided to make a huge commitment to continuing her education and became certified in Structural Integration.

Also, Jeff Ramos, in addition to managing the center and being a wonderful massage therapist, is now a firefighter. He is currently attending graduate school to study Psychology.

As for myself, I have become certified to teach infant massage, meditation, and breathwork. I now focus on making massage therapy more accessible to the public by accepting health insurance and offering my community wellness massage program for pain relief.

I had an amazing time getting to know Simona Fossati who manufactures Mana Healing CBD Oils. I also sat next to Eva Silva, from Intuitive Healing Hawaii and learned about her passion for massage therapy. I look forward to trying her services soon.

The lovely Bessie Estonactoc, from Harmony Counseling, is such a pleasure to be around. Check out her services on her website. In addition to her counseling services, she is also a hypnotherapist.

At the far end of the table, was Carrie Cochran, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Nancy Delamarter, who offers counseling and yoga therapy. I wish I would have gotten a chance to talk more with them!

Jen Lau was on the far end of the table too. She is an amazing acupuncturist, and I see her regularly. She has successfully kept my neck pain at bay for one year and counting. I highly recommend her!

Unfortunately, JoDana Newman of M.O. Wellness Center and Nikki Oishi could not make it to the dinner. There is also a new Ayurvedic skin care specialist, named Heidi, that was unable to attend. Oh, and yes! How can I forget the fabu"lash" lash expert, Sarah Matthews of Hoku Hale. She is amazing! Visit the Ka'ala Healing Arts website to find out more about these services.

Last but not least, I got to know Marni. I wish I remembered to ask her last name. She is the new caretaker of the center and is in charge of sprucing up the greenery around the building. She sells amazing succulants, and I look forward to buying a few for my office. I will update this blog once I get her contact information.

If it has been a while since you've been to Ka'ala Healing Arts, come and check us out! A lot has changed over the years. If you have any questions, feel free to call me anytime. I am always happy to help.

Meanwhile, I look forward to seeing you soon for an amazing deep tissue or ashiatsu massage session. I take all health insurance policies that cover massage therapy in the state of Hawaii. This includes HMAA, HMSA, UHA, and Kaiser. If you aren't sure whether or not your policy covers massage, call me. I can look your information up quickly.

Best wishes this holiday season!

Love,
Sonia Beauchamp

North Shore Massage Updates

Aloha All,

Change is on the horizon at Integrated Massage and Deep Tissue Therapy in Waialua near Haleiwa. After sharing my space with the talented Abby Parker (again!) for the past two years, I now bid her a fond farewell!

Abby and North Shore Ashiatsu and Massage is now moving down the street to the Scoop of Paradise Building next to Pa'alakai Bakery where she can focus on expanding her teaching facility for Deep Feet Ashiatsu Bar Therapy with her two-room massage studio.

I have yet to find the perfect massage therapist to replace Abby here at Integrated Massage. I hope to find someone soon so we can provide massage and ashiatsu services seven days a week during the daytime and evening hours.

For now, I will focus on sprucing things up at Ka'ala Healing Arts. I was thinking about ordering a new set of hot stones. What do you think? Let me know if you have any ideas for new services I should offer. How about a hot-cabi for heated towels? I also have heated bamboo massage sticks, but no one to practice on! Would you like to be my guinea-pig =) ? Let me know, and I will add some extra time to your massage session for heated bamboo massage. Free of charge, of course!

Thank you all for your support! I also extend a warm thank you to Abby Parker. She has been a joy to work with, and is one of the most professional massage therapists on the North Shore. I wish her all the best in her new endeavors.

Sincerely,
Sonia Beauchamp
