A side-by-side couples massage with your friend or loved one. Often, people book couples massage to celebrate a special occasion, anniversary, or birthday. It is also a great way to reconnect with your partner and commit to a healthy lifestyle together. Many times, there is one person in a relationship who doesn't have much experience with receiving bodywork. They may be reluctant to try something new. Booking a couples massage is a great way to introduce a newcomer to massage therapy.
We also accommodate small groups at our location at Ka'ala Healing Arts near Haleiwa in Waialua. We have four+ licensed massage therapists on staff in the center and can arrange for your appointments to be scheduled at the same time. There are also options for skincare, lash services, acupuncture, colon hydrotherapy, and wellness counseling, in addition to massage. Please keep in mind, that we cannot accommodate large groups without sufficient notice of a week or two.
What kinds of massage are available when booking a couples massage appointment?
The answer to this question depends on the therapists that are available to perform your massages. Usually, we can accommodate any combination of Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Hawaiian Lomilomi. We do not offer Ashiatsu couples treatments because the placement of the tables does not align with the overhead bars on our ceiling. We also do not offer a hot stone massage upgrade with couples services because the two therapists must time their massage techniques to ensure absolute perfection.
How far in advance do we need to schedule our appointments?
Ideally, you should call a few weeks ahead of time to schedule your North Shore couple's massage to ensure that you get in at your preferred date and time. Of course, our clients are always welcome to call anytime, and we try our best to help with last minute requests. Keep in mind, that we have the best therapists in Waialua and Haleiwa on-call for couple's massage, so it is more than likely that they are already booked if you wait too late to schedule.

We are more than happy to contact the other practitioners and get them in touch with you, if necessary. We will also do the legwork to accommodate your small group at your preferred date and time.
